A powerful man makes an offer to Arekan - an offer he can't refuse. The character interaction is totally hilarious! The book is full of very fresh humor, and I literally found myself laughing out loud at some of the gags. Other space opera fans will surely appreciate them too. :)This is a guy's book with plenty of action and no watered-down romance. A highly enjoyable and funny read, though it gets more serious at the end. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. :)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. not just for guys!!!!!! By L M 5 stars isn't enough for how I felt about this book. I was able to get into the story and characters quickly. The great pace never stopped. I am female and would not classify this as a guys book. Yes it is an adventure sci fi but girls like that too. I also appreciated the lack of space filling romance that doesnt move the plot.It is a fun space ride and I cant wait for book 2.
