Evans cares about his books and the people who will be reading them. A gorgeous cover, a thrilling story, and clean, easy read with a voice that jumps from the page. A must read for dystopian fiction fans, yes, but a must read for anyone who likes to be entertained in general! Definitely more interesting than my day job! Fast-paced and suspenseful, I read this noel in one sitting. I'll definitely be recommending this one to my friends, and at the cost of less than cup of coffee, this is a STEAL. Where else can you get hours of entertainment for so cheap?

Christopher Evans has a highly readable and distinct writing style that makes this book really stand out among the rest. I was hooked in by the impressive blurb and since it was only a dollar, I decided to give this book a shot.This novel is well-plotted and well-edited, making it an impressive debut I’d recommend to anyone. I’ve been really into dystopian novels lately and started reading a lot of them after watching ‘Mad Max’ in theaters. You will lose yourself in “Born Lucid” and get so wrapped up in it the real world around you will just fade away. This novel is gripping and an absolute page turner that impressed me from page one. Two-thumbs up for Evans! Woohoo! 4.6/5 stars.

What I liked was that I could really get into the characters and found them so realistic that I could picture what they looked like (in my mind at least) The characters are well written and it was exciting to see them unravel. It ends with a surprise twist that has me thinking there might be more of this story left to tell. Honestly, I could not have asked for a more satisfying read.
