About the Author John Kalkowski earned a nomination for the Nebraska Golden Sower Award with his first novel, Red Cell. I eagerly awaited the follow up. I found it similar to the original and enjoyed it. I was a little disappointed at the length, especially considering the length of time since the first book. I will definitely be in line for the next installment.
