By Amazon Customer There was a lot going on, but it seemed that when they finally got down to doing what the story was all about, it took only a half dozen pages to get it done.The writing was somewhat juvenile, the interest holding was just not there. The character development was weak. The people were shallow, inconsistent.Was it worth the time to read it, if you aren't technology inclined and have a high school education and don't need someone to tell you what the big words are, sure you'll love it. Otherwise there are better books out there. I hope all the series isn't this bad.

By Lawrence Bolger I read the first book in this three book series, reluctantly gave the second book a read. The plot reads well, however the middle of the book deals with other stuff somewhat related. Have I confused you yet? Wait the ending, like the first book, is so convienient, it would appear the author was forced to end the book in the fewest words.I will pass on the third, not willing to waste my time.I would have passed on this but never read any reviews.

Paterson I feel like I have been tricked by some sort of slight of hand into reading what I was led to believe was the writing of two of my favorite authors. After two dull,poorly written books,I finally realized that I was reading the work of a wannabe that was deceptively using the similarity of his name to trick readers into buying his inferior books. This author is by no means the real Preston and Childs I have come to love and appreciate!
