Over the next three years, all the prisons in New Earth were emptied, and the inmates sent to the moon. Only 63% of the inmates survived the voyage. The decision to move New Earth's prison system to the moon was made for two reasons: first, it freed up critical space on the planet's surface for housing developments and industrial facilities; second, moving dangerous criminals to the moon would keep the population of New Earth safer. In 2139, The New World Order passed a law designed to deter criminals from ever committing a crime. Not only would the criminal be sent to the Moon Penitentiary, but their entire family - parents, and siblings, or spouse and children, depending on the age of the convicted person - would be sent along with them.In space, as on earth, rules of civilized society don't apply anymore. A prison bio dome, ruthless guards, and thousands of miles from freedom are what stand between a wronged family and redemption.Dirk and Rita Haston, along with their two teenaged children, have been sentenced to twenty years in a sprawling penitentiary on the moon. After plotting and putting into action a daring escape, Dirk and Rita are on the run, but they haven't gotten very far. The children were left behind in the chaotic getaway, and because they refuse to leave the moon without them, Dirk and Rita propose the unthinkable--a daring reentry into the hell they've called home for the past several months. But first, they must find a way to get back in unseen.Facing death sentences if they get caught, the Hastons have everything to lose if they don't succeed. A vengeful and corrupt prison director will stop at nothing to make the couple pay for the embarrassment they've caused him and his administration. On the hot seat, he has a scheme of his own that promises no one in the Haston family is getting in, or out, alive.Set in the not-too-distant future, full of sympathetic characters rife with tangible emotions, Return to the Penitentiary is the third book in an original science fiction dystopian series entitled "The Moon Penitentiary" by author Nick Langenberg. If you are a fan of science fiction adventure with plenty of twist and turns, then you will love this exciting collection of science fiction short reads.

Escape from the Moon penitentiary at any cost By Anderson Joy Being a tech guy, Am too much into Sci- Fi novels and movies and Returning to penitentiary is no excuse for me. I dearly enjoyed the book about the Probable prediction of the future. Recently Elon Musk, thought of a city on another planet and I can connect the 2 ideas becoming real when future governments think of transporting High crime in-mates to another planet as a way of protecting other people on Earth. The book is about the couple that is convicted and according to the New World Order of 2139, the family of the convicted may have to suffer the same situation by being taken together to the Moon penitentiary, So Dirk and Rita Haston, along with their two teenaged children, have been sentenced to twenty years in a sprawling penitentiary on the moon. The two are ready to Escape no matter what it takes with their children and Soren, the director of the prison, and as their biggest obstacle is ready to put down any body trying to minimize his security at the Penitentiary. Enjoy...
