Justin Reed, a young man living in Port Hueneme, California, is on his way to a date in Santa Monica with a lady he met on a dating site. As he is driving down Pacific Coast Highway he sees a strange light hovering over the ocean. At first he figures it’s a police helicopter searching for bad guys. As he gets closer it becomes apparent that it’s an unknown airborne craft. When he stops to investigate the craft he disappears from existence for the next five years. He is abducted and carried to a strange but beautiful place in an undetermined location but obviously not on Earth. He wakes to find himself floating in a room made of clouds, speaking with his assigned ‘Source’. Justin is selected, as others are rejected, because of his temperament to be trained for a mysterious mission by his Source. His Source renames him HH16. After five years Justin reappears with super natural powers and a focus on his mysterious mission. He first visits the young lady he was to meet for dinner the night he was abducted. Tricia Francis is now married with two small girls. Justin meets the family, apologizes to Tricia and leaves her and her husband, Jeff, with an unexpected gift. Justin then floats away. His mission focus then leads him to The Vatican in Rome to engage the Pope in discussions of the Catholic Churches religious convictions. He is detained is his quest to speak with The Pope by the Papal Swiss Guard. Using his powers he manages to avoid the guard, he then confronts The Pope and engages him in a conversation that infuriates The Pope but opens his narrow view of the Catholic Religion’s responsibility to its followers. Justin tells The Pope his name, HH16, and that there will be 15 more to follow him, then One. HH16 then floats away. The Pope, realizing the implications of what has just taken place, hurriedly calls an organizational conference of all Catholic leaders. HH16 also engages well known leaders of religious organizations in the United States, first Joel Osteen, pastor of Houston’s Lakewood Church. Mr. Osteen and his congregation experience the power of HH16 and believe there has been a divine intervention in their worship experience. HH16 tells them his name and that there will be 15 more to follow him, then One. HH16 then floats away. HH16 heads to Hadden, Louisiana to visit the Aryan Justice World Congress Convention. The Aryan Justice is a white supremacist (self-described White Christian Separatist) religious organization. HH16 interrupts the convention by asking the Grand Wizard some questions. HH16 tells the convention they are teaching and practicing hate and tells them his name and that there will be 15 more to follow him, then One. HH16 then floats away through the ceiling. A panic and a stampede ensues with injuries. This causes him to be put on an Aryan Justice hit list. He visits the NRA Annual Convention, which the Aryan Justice is monitoring for his presence. Members of the Aryan group confront him and cause another stampede from the convention when gunfire breaks out. The organizational conference of Catholic leaders, led by the Pope, organizes a World Peace Conference to be held at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington, Texas. Leaders of any and every concerned group in the entire world has been invited to attend and fill the stadium. HH16 makes an awe inspiring entrance through the extractable roof and when he finally discloses his mission, the world has a choice to make.

This sci-fi tale is full of fact as well as fiction and will keep you reading to see what in the world is going to happen. It's thought provoking and mixes humor with some very serious situations. The explanation of the main character's purpose is beautifully expressed and of course there is the typical Herndon twist at the end. Enjoy!
