About the Author Born in 1980 in Newark, New Jersey, Samantha was an elementary school teacher before becoming an author. It was her unforgettable experiences in teaching that inspired her to become a writer. Samantha taught in high crime and poverty stricken neighborhoods. She realized that by the time many of her students advanced to fifth and sixth grade their dreams were gone. The same students however, had many dreams during the earlier parts of their life ranging between ages 3-8. Samantha pondered the question of why children who are so young are so unmotivated and hopeless. She theorized that maybe some children and parents don’t realize their children’s talents and as a result don’t know how to foster them. With this book it is hoped that parents all around the world will learn how to identify their children’s gifts, help their children identify it, and nurture it as much as possible. No child should live a life of hopelessness or empty dreams. To date, Samantha is an adult and still DREAMS BIG!
